Ed Barber, III paced the field for the first four tours before Sam Locuson bolted to the front following a restart. By the halfway point, Sam Locuson had built up a full straightaway lead with his brother, Andrew, in second place. By lap 16, Sam Locuson’s big advantage was beginning to diminish. Bill Thomas finished in fourth and Richie Keller came home in fifth. The 600cc Micro-Sprint heats were taken by Sam Locuson and Andrew Locuson.

The runner-up spot was taken by Tyler Reinhardt. Dave Nelson, John Blanda, and Joe Dopke completed the top five. Tyler Reinhardt and Justin Stillwagon won the 270cc Micro-Sprint qualifying races.
