TIPPIN AND PANCZNER GRAB 600CC MICRO-SPRINT FEATURE VICTORIES AT BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY
Swedesboro, NJ (August 25, 2012) – On Bridgeport Speedway’s quarter mile track, Jim Tippin took the checkered flag in the scheduled 600cc Micro-Sprint feature. In the postponed 600cc Micro-Sprint main event from Friday, August 17, Chris Panczner was the victor. Jay Hartman scored the win in the 270cc Micro-Sprint race while Bucky Albright bested the field in the 4-Cylinder Enduro Car feature.

In the scheduled 20-lap feature for the 600cc Micro-Sprints, Jim Tippin started on the pole and led every step of the way to claim his first victory of the season. Tippin held off Steve Bracall on a restart with three laps remaining to secure the win. Bracall finished in second after starting the event in sixth place. Andrew Locuson came home in third with Bill Thomas and Tim Iulg completing the top five. The 600cc Micro-Sprint heat race winners were Tim Iulg, Jim Tippin, and Jon Keller. Chris Locuson won the consolation event.

After leading the opening circuit on Friday, August 17, Chris Panzczner set the pace for the remaining tours to win the postponed 20-lap 600cc Micro-Sprint main event.The runner-up spot was taken by Jim Tippin. Andrew Locuson, Stephen Kemery, and Gene Smith rounded out the top five.

For the second consecutive week, Jay Hartman topped the field in the 20-lap 270cc Micro-Sprint feature. Hartman started the race in twelfth place and he took over the lead on lap 9. Second place went to Richie Keller. Tyler Reinhardt, Justin Stillwagon, and Derek Krum completed the top five. Charlie Lamanna and Lee Nardelli were victors in the 270cc Micro-Sprint qualifying events.


After taking the top spot from his son on the eighth circuit, Bucky Albright set the pace for the remaining distance to win the 20-lap 4-Cylinder Enduro Car race. Nate Albright came home in second place. Todd Francis, Mike Dunn, and Warren Stradley filled out the remainder of the top five finishers.

Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
