An Easter Egg Hunt will occur in the quarter mile pit area near the main grandstand entrance. A balloon launch is slated to be held before the first qualifying race takes place. Introduced last season and very popular with fans, the Big Block Modifieds will be staged on the midway behind the spectator stands. After being on display throughout the day, a restored “60 Over” 1986 Olsen Modified formerly driven by Doug Hoffman will pace the feature line-up. Just before the 60-lap race begins, the missing man formation will take shape on the 5/8th mile. Joette Hoffman, Doug’s daughter, will wave the green flag to get the contest, the first event of the 2013 Big Block Modified Poker Series, underway. All fans and crew members are encouraged to stand on the opening circuit and final tour of the race.
