Thursday May 13, 2010 URC SPRINTS AND SUPER LATE MODELS HEADLINE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND SHOW AT GEORGETOWN SPEEDWAY GEORGETOWN, DE (May 12, 2010) - The second show of the 2010 racing season at Georgetown Speedway will have two headline classes sharing the spotlight. On Sunday, May 30, the United Racing Company Sprints will make their first appearance of 2010 at the fast half-mile speedway and will share the top billing with the Super Late Models. The Crate Modifieds and Crate Late Models will be on the agenda as well. Also, all kids are encouraged to bring their Big Wheels as races for the young ones will take place during intermission.
Pit gates will swing open at 3:00 PM with the spectator gates opening at 4:00 PM. Warm-ups will hit the track at 5:30 PM. General grandstand admission tickets are $20 with children 12 and under admitted for free. Admission to the pit area is $35.
Georgetown Speedway is a 1/2 mile dirt oval located on the northbound side of U.S. Route 113, just 35 miles south of Dover, Delaware, a 45-minute drive from Ocean City, Maryland, and easily accessible from Washington DC, Baltimore, and Philadelphia.
