Thursday January 17, 2013 DANNY SERRANO JOINS BRIDGEPORT SPEEDWAY TEAM AS TRACK MANAGER Bridgeport, NJ (January 17, 2013) – A familiar face in New Jersey racing circles will be joining the Bridgeport Speedway team as Danny Serrano has become the track manager.
Serrano, a lifetime fan of local racing, recently parted ways from New Egypt Speedway following five years of service. At Bridgeport Speedway, Serrano will have a multitude of duties at the Southern New Jersey complex including day-to-day facility management of the track, concession stand and novelty booth. In addition, Serrano will be coordinating with promoter Dave Adams on promotions and sponsorship activities. “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Bridgeport Speedway team and look forward to making many positive contributions,” remarked Serrano. A 2013 edition of the ‘Friends of Mike’ race at Bridgeport Speedway is in the works and will be spearheaded by Serrano.
Serrano will be greeting fans and racers along with Adams and track operator Keith Hoffman at the upcoming 2013 Motorsports Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA on January 18 through January 20. Discounted Pit Licenses will be offered at the show for competitors and team members. Also at the Motorsports show, reserved parking spots can be secured for the 2013 season along with information on various sponsorships including Nights of Racing and seasonal rentals of Bridgeport’s luxurious Sky Boxes.
Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways, and fan participation games. As a premier racing complex, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
