Sunday July 19, 2009 RAIN FORCES NEW DATE FOR PACK THE TRACK AT BRIDGEPORT RAIN FORCES NEW DATE FOR PACK THE TRACK AT BRIDGEPORT
BRIDGEPORT, NJ (July 18, 2009) - An early evening thunderstorm
drenched the quarter mile speedway and forced Bridgeport Speedway to
cancel the Pack the Track race program for Friday, July 17th. General
admission wristbands from the cancelled July 17th show are worth $5.00
and can be redeemed for one of the next three Friday night programs.
Following the postponement, Speedway officials quickly re-scheduled
the Pack The Track night to Friday, July 24th. Adult admission to the
grandstand will be only $5.00. Children 12 and under are admitted for
free. The 270cc Micro-Sprints will do double duty on this special
night as they will have a wingless feature in addition to their winged
feature. The 4-Cylinder Stock Cars and 600cc Micro-Sprints will also
be in action. Gates open at 5:00 PM with the first race starting at
7:00 PM.
Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere,
free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The
Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked
5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the
center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from
Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295. |
